I’m pleased to offer herbal workshops in the form of knowledge shares, medicine-making circles, and/or presentations for adult, youth, and intergenerational audiences alike. Workshops can be tailored according to the needs and interest of the community.
Some workshops have included:
Sacred Under Siege: Recovering Herbal Medicine from the Legacy of the War on Drugs
Sexual Healing with Plant Medicine
What’s Cooking? What’s Healing? Plant Medicine in the Kitchen Cabinet
I have brought workshops to a variety of spaces from NYC to Colorado including but not limited to conferences, community homes, non-profits, youth programs, community gardens, and POC-owned small businesses. For more information on past offerings, please review this one pager.
My workshops are guided by critical postcolonial history, ritual, anti-oppressive facilitation, personal research, oral/family history, as well as my formal herbal & academic education from Sacred Vibes Apothecary & Swarthmore College where I graduated with a B.A. in History & Latin American Studies. My facilitation skills are grounded in my background as a popular educator and former community organizer director. Please review my CV for more details.
